About the artist:

Located in the South Sound area of Washington State (south of Seattle, east of Tacoma) in the city of Puyallup, we enjoy the creative inspiration all around us. My other half is a very talented photographer, whose work will be incorporated into this site, as he takes all the photos of my work. My desire is to use his beautiful landscapes as models for fused glass and engraving. Please come back to see what has been added, you may see something you like.

Why this site?:

I decided to build this site in order to share not only what I do, but how I did it and the lessons I have learned along the way. Having looked at all kinds of websites and Facebook pages in hopes of learning how things are done, I am a little disappointed at what I have found. There are projects with step by step instructions, there are details about firing schedules and the science of glass, but there doesn’t seem to be anywhere that I have found that tells a person what was tried, what failed and what lessons were learned along the way. I hope to be able to put my lessons learned here. This means I will be self critiquing my work and hope that if you have the answer or suggestions, you will leave a comment.
